Grounding Reset
Peripheral Vision
This is a simple grounding practice to help your nervous system settle.
There's nothing to force and nowhere to go.
Just follow along gently.
- 1
Pick a soft focal point slightly above eye level.
- 2
Take five slow, comfortable breaths, letting the exhale be easy.
- 3
While keeping your eyes on the point, gently expand awareness to the edges of your vision.
- 4
Notice space to the left and right, above and below.
- 5
Feel your feet on the floor and your body supported where you're sitting.
- 6
Allow sounds near and far to come and go without focusing on any one.
- 7
Stay here for one to three minutes, letting the body naturally settle.
When you're ready, gently bring your attention back and continue your day from this steadier place.
